Frequently Asked Questions
Are you accepting new patients? Not right now, except pregnant women.
What is a new patient? Someone who has not been treated in my office before.
Do you accept walk ins? No. Can pregnant women get adjusted? Absolutely! Most women find that regular chiropractic care helps with back and pelvic pain. The Webster Technique is specific for pregnancy, designed to make Mom more comfortable during pregnancy.
How old do you have to be to be adjusted? Babies can be safely adjusted as early as birth. Gentle manipulations are done with very light pressure.
What are some conditions that can be helped with chiropractic care in infants and children? I've helped children and infants with torticollis, colic, ear infections, hypertonia, and constipation to name a few. I'm a huge believer! I was still wetting the bed at age seven and I stopped with chiropractic care.
Do you require x-rays on the first visit? Short answer is no. If I feel that x-rays are warranted, I will order them. I use certain criteria to justify diagnostic imaging.
Do you offer care plans? No! I offer treatment plans. Your treatment is individualized to you and your condition. I will never ask you to sign a contract, or make payments on your treatment. You choose to get treated or not. No high pressure tactics are used in my office.
What insurance plans do you participate with? None! Through the years, insurance benefits have decreased as copays and deductibles have increased. It is scary to receive medical care these days because in most cases, you don't know what you will pay until you get the bill in the mail. I want my patients to know what they will pay every time they walk in the door. We also don't take motor vehicle or workman's comp claims.
What do you charge per visit? $50
What forms of payment do you accept? Credit, Debit, HSA, Cash, Check, Venmo, Apple Pay and Zelle.
Do you do DOT physicals? No
What is your no show policy? You are allowed one no show per year without charge. Second missed appointment will result in a charge for the visit you missed and you will be required to prepay for your next appointment. Third missed appointment will result in dismissal from care. New patients who don't show up for their first visit will not be rescheduled.
What should I wear to my appointment? Comfortable clothing that you can move in. If you are coming from work and you are dirty, please change clothes. Please don't wear dirty, dusty or muddy shoes/boots in the office.
